36th Annual Fall Harvest Festival

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL

Streets are closed to traffic to create “avenues” for The Cruisers classic cars, agricultural and craftsmen demonstrations, arts and crafts booths, a farmer’s market, petting zoo,children’s inflatable area, storytelling, festival food vendors and much more!

  • Live music all day on two stages and bluegrass pickin’ in the Front Yard Plaza!
  • At 11:30 am, the popular “Yadkin Idol” competition begins on the Elm Street “stage.”
  • Inside the Cultural Center sneak a peek at the construction of the Willingham Theater, opening November 9th
  • Watch the Yadkin Valley Quilters demonstrating their skills in the classrooms, take in the Juried Show exhibit in the Welborn Gallery, “Eye of the Artist.”

This festival has something for everyone- that’s why we call it the “Granddaddy of Festivals in the Yadkin Valley!”

The first annual East West BBQ Fest at Festival Park in downtown Greensboro proper, near Center City Park.

Bring your dancing shoes to Yadkinville for Harvest Festival, hosted by the Yadkin Arts Council. Over 10,000 celebrated Yadkin’s growing arts scene and surrounding wineries.

Winston Salem’s Craft Beer Festival: Twin City Taps Saturday August 11

The second Twin City Taps craft beer festival will take place on August 11, 2012. It will feature unlimited sampling from North Carolina craft breweries and will benefit the North Carolina Brewers Guild. Twin City Taps will be held at Ziggy’s, 170 W. 9th Street in downtown Winston-Salem.
